- The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities, by Dossie Easton, Catherine A. Liszt. This is a frank, funny, wise and sometimes confronting book looking at a really wide variety of polyamory issues. Many poly people I know rate this their favorite poly book. Melbournian bookshops known to stock it are 'Hares & Hyenas' (135 Commercial Rd, South Yarra - phone 9824 0110) and 'Polyester Books' (330 Brunswick St, Fitzroy - phone 9419 5223). Best to call these shops first as stocks can run out.
- Polyamory: The New Love Without Limits: Secrets of Sustainable Intimate Relationships, by Dr. Deborah M. Anapol. This book is in a more traditional "self-help book" format, and is less confronting and a little more formal than the Ethical Slut. Full of good stuff based on practical experience and research, and a good book to give to more conventional family members if you are coming out to them, and if they need more information - it looks reassuringly "normal"!

- When Two Won't Do. A very moving self-made Canadian documentary of the progression of a poly relationship.
- Poly People, by producer Muffy Potter. A six-minute look at one Australian poly family, made by a student documentary maker.
